Wild Cattle

The Wild Cattle is a separate visitor attraction that provides visitors the opportunity to see the only wild cattle in the world. The Cattle are the sole survivors of the heard that once roamed the forests of Britain, once they were held sacred and pre-Christian pagans scarified them to their gods.

During a visit to the Chillingham Wild Cattle the warden will be on hand while you safely view the cattle and learn about their history.
