Birdoswald Roman Fort

Easter Kite Festival, 15th – 17th April 2017
Get to grips with the art of kite flying at Birdoswald Roman Fort on Hadrianan’s Wall. Expert kite flyers will dazzle you with their skills as they create a spectacle in the grounds of this ancient Roman Fort.
See gigantic kites in flight, watch synchronised demonstrations to music, have a go at making your very own kite and try it out in the family flying area where we will also give you some top tips on making it soar. If you have a kite at home make sure you bring it along on the day too for an unforgettable day out!

There will also be a Golden Egg Sundays where three golden eggs will be hidden somewhere along the trail.

Whitehouse Farm

Easter Eggstravaganza & Lambing Season, 8th – 23rd April 2017
Easter is always an egg-citing time of year at Whitehouse Farm!
Lambing has started, so there are lots of little lambs to cuddle, pet lambs which you can bottle feed and if you are lucky, you may see a lamb being born!
There have been lots of new arrivals at Whitehouse Farm this Spring including pygmy goat kids, cute chicks and calves!
