Birdoswald Roman Fort

Birdoswald Fort formally known as “Banna” is home to the longest surviving stretch of Hadrian’s Wall and features extensive remains of the fort once located at the western end of the wall.

As well as roman remains Birdoswald Roman Fort features exhibitions, picturesque walks and a tearoom.
