Maltings Theatre & Cinema
The Maltings is a purpose built arts complex located in the walled town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed. The Maltings showcases a diverse range of over 500 live events, workshops and digital cinema screenings selling well over 60,00 tickets a year! The venue consisting of 5 levels features primarily a main theatre room with seating for 300 and a smaller studio space with seating for 70. The Maltings also features The Stage bar in bohemian style and The Maltings Kitchen with panoramic views of the River Tweed.
The Stage Bar
The Stage bar which is located in level 2 is the ideal place to relax before or after performances. The bar is in the style of a bohemian bar and is fully-licensed to serve a wide range of drinks from draught ale to coffee and tea. Should you be viewing a performance at the Maltings the bars interval drinks pre booking system will help you avoid crowds and delays!
The Maltings Kitchen
The Maltings Kitchen which is operated by David & Lesley Foxtron serves a selection of cakes, cold/hot drinks, light bites and meals. The kitchen due to its rooftop location has wonderful panoramic views overlooking the River Tweed though its surrounding glass windows.
