Eyemouth Museum
The Eyemouth Museum is a small independent museum in the heart of Eyemouth. Eyemouth Museum showcases documents and artefacts on the fishing and social heritage of Eyemouth. As well as showcasing documents and artefacts the museum houses the famous Eyemouth Tapestry that commemorates the Great East Coast Fishing Disaster of 1881. The tapestry was beautifully hand crafted by 24 local women over 2 years.
Eyemouth Museum also houses a tourist information centre along with an exhibition gallery and gift shop where their friendly staff will help you make the most of your visit to Eyemouth.
