Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens

Belsay Hall is a grand Grade 1 listed 19th-century country mansion which was built between 1810 and 1817 for Sir Charles Monck. Belsay Hall is currently in an unfurnished state and has great architecture for visitors to browse. Often art installations and performances take place inside of the halls many rooms.

Belsay Hall also features extensive well maintained gardens and grounds such as the formal and quarry gardens. Visitors to the Belsay Hall can also visit the ruins of Belsay Castle upon completing a short walk through the Quarry garden.
